STA Travel

Date: 24th March 2015

Venue: Titanic Hotel, Liverpool

Format: Rhythm Rocks energiser followed by Commercial Break

What We Did:


The day started with a drumming workshop featuring Body Percussion, Samba 

Drumming and lots of collaborative noise-making, which developed into the whole 

group refining their sound and playing the same rhythm.


After lunch our Commercial Break video-based team building event format was 

unveiled to teams, who were given a selection of themes from which to film a one 

minute advert. Ranging from “Trekking the Inca Trail” to “Self Drive Tour of 

Australia’s East Coast” teams were tasked with storyboarding their ideas, presenting 

this to the financers and backers, purchasing props and technical equipment and 

finally, filming their advert. 


Adverts were edited and shown to all participants who voted on the best overall ad 

during an Oscar themed awards ceremony in the evening.
